The advance of our biometrics technology leads to the development of these unique sensors and paves the way for fast and accurate fingerprint recognition. One of these sensors is the capacitive sensor. It captures capacitance between the fingerprint contours and the sensor which contains a good number of small capacitive plates, each capable of maintaining an electrical circuit and creating a change of pattern in the electrical charge on the sensor surface when the finger is placed. This change of electrical charges forms unique pattern points (Minutiae) of the corresponding fingerprint, and is eventually digitized and stored in the device for future identification.

To accommodate various customer requirements, we adopt a wide range of different fingerprint sensors for our products balancing their unique features and costing of such sensors. Sensors range from capacitive to infra-red, and from touch-type to sweep-type, all contributing to different applications.

The best part of these capacitive sensors is the high accuracy and the physical strength. It is tested that these sensors, shielded by a strong coating, withstands 15 - 20KV electrostatic discharge (ESD) and at least three hundred thousands times of constant abrasions, making it the first of a kind in the world to attain such incredible durability with impeccable level of ESD resistance. What this means to you is, you are hassle-free to use our products
